IPL 2017: RPS VS GL: Andrew Tye's Hat-trick Despites RPS

Hat-trick are not a daily affair but on Friday blessed day for the bowlers, it could so turn out that one is treated with two of them. Following Samuel Badree 's exploits against Mumbai Indians, it was the turn of Andrew Tye to hog the limelight on IPL debut match.

It took the table -toppers of the last edition, Gujarat Lions, three games to finally get off the mark, and when the win arrived, it did it in style. After Andrew Tye's exceptional five wicket haul, that included final- over hat-trick the home side chased a slightly challenging total in 172. 

Openers Brendon McCullum and Dwayne Smith put forth a blockbuster opening stand, adding 94 runs inside 9 overs of the chase to put the Lions well on course for a victory. The Lions did throw  in a fight but captain Suresh Raina and Aron Finch ensured that there were no hiccups in knocking off the reminder of the target. Eventually, the Lions picked up contest by 7 wickets with 2 overs to left.

He bowled with immaculate control and his variations especially the knuckle ball with which he dismissed both Rahu Tripathi and Ben Stokes at key junctures in the game.

Having lost Rahane off the 3rd ball in the innings, RPS needed a big partnership to get going and that came from Rahul Tripathi and Steve Smith's combination. While Smith Brilliant run of form was nothing but routine, Tripathi's hitting prowess, where he hit 2 Sixes and 3 Fours was real surprise. These both batsman taking game away from Gujarat Lions by scoring 64 runs in power-play overs. Andrew Tye put the knuckle ball into play in the first over of his maiden outing to arrest the momentum. With Smith gone soon after, the role of Ben Stokes as the big-hitter assumed more importance. 

Tye struck back with his second most important blow of the evening when his knuckle ball sent Ben Stokes back, leaving a waning MS Dhoni to do the big hitting. The Hat-trick came in the final over when dismissed Ankit Sharma, Maonoj Tiwari and Shardul Thakur in a row, this Hat-trick made a difference of 10 -20 runs. Because of Andrew Tye's Hat-trick Rising Pune stuck for 171/8 in their 20 overs.

IP 2017: Suresh Raina becomes 1st player to feature in IPL matches!

Raina had also captained for the Chennai Super Kings in three games, in the absence of MS Dhoni  in  2010 season. In that season he scored 520 runs, also became season's top run-getter in ipl 2010.

Gujarat Lions team's captain Suresh Raina became the first player in Indian Premier League to play in 150 IPL matches, during the clash against Rising Pune Supergiant at Rajkot on Friday 14th April. Raina ia also the highest run scorer in the IPL history with 4206 runs in 150 matches including 29 half-centuries and a century also. 

Raina, However is a handy all- rounder. He has taken 24 wickets at less than economy of 8 runs per overs which is good in T-20 format of games. He playing as Gujarat Lion's captain from last year IPL season 2016, but he stared his career with Channai Super Kings (CSK) in the inaugural edition of IPL. 

Raina had also captained for the Chennai Super Kings in three games, in the absence of MS Dhoni in 2010 season. In that season he scored 520 runs, also became season's top run getter in ipl 2010.

Kieron Pollard 7000* runs 'NOT OUT'!

 Kieron Pollard has took 361 games to reach this milestone and by doing so, the Caribbean All-rounder became only the fifth player to make 7000 runs in T-20 cricket games history ever. 

West Indies's star player Kieron Pollard has became the latest entrant in the 7000 runs club in the T-20 cricket format of the game. He needed 33 runs ahead of Mumbai Indians match against Royal Challengers Bangalore in Chinnaswamy Stadium at Bangalore on Friday 14th April. 

Pollard scored here 70 runs of just 47 deliveries which included 3 Fours and 5 huge Sixes that helped Mumbai Indians to defeat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 4wickets at their home. With win Mumbai Indians jumped to the top of the IPL points table. Kieron Pollard has took 361 games to reach this milestone and by doing so, the Caribbean All- rounder became only the fifth player to make 7000 runs in T-20 cricket games history ever. 

Top players who scored over 7000runs in T-20 cricket: 
1) Chris Gayle:  9997 runs  in 289 matches. 
2) Brendon McCullum :  7411 runs in 269 matches.
3) Brad Hodge :  7338 runs in 270 matches. 
4) Davide Warner : 7011 runs in 224 matches.

What a Friday it has for the bowlers! It becomes Fantastic Friday for them. Yes! first Samuel Badree in the game between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians at Bangalore in the match No.12 of IPL this season, Now turn of the Gujarat Lion's bowler Andrew Tye against Rising Pune Supergiant at Rajkot on Friday night game.

In the evening Samuel became 12th bowler who gets Hat-trick in the IPL history. Now Andrew Tye became 13th bowler by taking Hat-trick wicket in all IPL and second of this season 2017. This is overall 16th IPL Hat-trick which gone happened on Friday 14th April. He was managed to got 5 wicket in this game and became first bowler who took 5 wickets in this season 2017.

Virat Kohli made his 22nd IPL fifty in his comeback game and looked supreme touch from the very first ball. Virat played a wonderful knock of 62 runs from just 47 balls he faced.  

The Lion is back! :  Fit-again  Virat Kohli marked his return to Royal Challengers Bagalore team in an attempt to get back challenging for top 4 spot in match against Mumbai Indians at Bangalore on Friday. Virat Kohli made his 22nd IPL fifty in his comeback game and looked supreme touch from the very first ball. Virat played a wonderful knock of 62 runs from just 47 balls he faced.  
He was great batting form in the 2016-17 calendar years with 4 double centuries in Test Cricket, but he failed to score runs against Australia only. But again he shows how to come back. He was the Top scorer of last season IPL 2016 with 973 runs including 7 half-centuries and 4 brilliant Hundreds. And he taken RCB for  the final of that season, but they lost against Sunrisers Hyderabad.  Kohli should make runs for the RCB team to repeat, what they done in the last season and win the title to come out from worst team branded as early season laggard.

14 April: Mumbai Indians have won the game by 4 wickets 7 balls to spare against Royal Challengers Bangalore in Chinnaswamy Stadium at Bangalore.  

Mumbai Indians won the toss and elected to bowl first, But Royal Challengers Bangalore got started good. Chris Gayle and Virat Kohli both are batted well and joins the 63 runs in 9.2 overs for first wicket. Virat also batted well and he scores 62 of just 47 balls in his comeback game. AB de Villiers short to score a good innings. Overall you can say Mumbai Indian's bowlers bowled well, kept Royal Challengers Bangalore's batsman quite and able to restrict them to 142/5 in 20 overs. 

Mumbai Indian's bowler Tim Southee gets 2 wickets for 23 runs and McClenaghan 1 wicket for 20 runs in his 4 overs.

IPL 2017: RCB VS MI MATCH PREVIEW

Royal Challengers Bangalore will take a battle with Mumabi Indians on Friday Arill 14th in Chinnaswamy  Stadium at home Bangalore.  

Having lost two of their three matches in this IPL season 2017, Royal challengers Bangalore received a massive boost ahead of their game against Mumbai Indians  on Friday April 14th, with regular captain Virat Kohli likly to make his comeback after a shoulder injury lay -off. Kohli, who sidelined for at least the first week of this season IPL due to shoulder injury in last Test series against Australia. He is all set to return to field when Royal Challengers Bangalore host the Rohit Sharma led side at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in the day of Friday double Header.

It is early day of IPL season to say, But Royal Challengers Bangalore find themselves in the wrong half of the ponts table having lost two in their three encounters so far, by sizeable margin.  As early season clashes go, Friday's  clash is against in form Mumbai Indians is big as it gets for Kohli and co. Another defeat and the last season finalist could see themselves branded as early season laggard.

To turned things around, Royal Challengers needed to score runs from  top order batsman, which was not happened in the previews games. Bangalore played 57 dot balls against Kings XI Punjab. But not only problem with bat RCB have problem. After a good day on the field against Daredevils, RCB turned another fumbling , disciplined performance in Indore.
Kohli return may be boosted Royal Challengers Bangalore, but he scores 11 fifties in 16 games in the season and MI is the only team against whom failed to go past fifty even once. AB de Villiers have played a exploding innings against KXIP, RCB will hope he will do in this game also.

Mumbai Indians won last two games of three, but the problem was not solved for MI. In the last game also top order batsman failed to good score like Nitish Rana, Hardik Pandya, and Krunal Pandya has been doing in the middle order. Young players are coming to rescue Mumbai Indians.
Captain Rohit Sharma bad form continued in the last game also, to win this game big players of MI  should play well knock here to give challenge to host Bangalore.

In the previous game Mumbai Indian's bowler gave winning contribution for the team. To keep Royal Challengers Bangalore quite Mumbai Indian bowling side should give their best of best, because Bangalore team have batting star players of Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli. One disadvantage for the both side bowlers is that the Chinnaswamy Stadium's has small boundary, so runs flow here for the batsman.

Yesterday IPL 2017' s season 11th game has between Kolkata Kinght Riders and Kings XI Punjab in Eden-Gardens stadium at Kolkata. Kolkata Knight Riders brought hihg -flying Kings XI Punjab side crashing down to earth with a thumping performance, winning at the Eden -Gardens stadium by 8 wickets as 3 overs remaining. 

The win was thanks to some extraordinary performances from of Kolkata Kni9ght Rider's  players.
Sunil Narine who bowled superb when bowling spell  4 overs 19/1, he surprisingly  promoted to open the innings in the KKR 's chase of KXIP's 170 runs. Gautam Gambhir 72*(49), Sunil Narine 37(18), both gave fantastic start of 76 run in just 5.4 overs. Then Rabin Uthappa 26(16) and finally Gambhir and Manish Pandey managed to reach the winning target of 171 runs. With this win KKR rose rose to top of the points table, while KXIP dropped down to the third position.

Befor this KKR won the toss and put Kings XI Punjab to bat first and KKR's bowler has managed to restricted for 170 runs. Punjab's Openers gave good start for the team, they makes 56 runs in the power play. KXIP at one moment 155/4 with more than 22 balls to go, Umesh Yadav who had walked back into the starting XI, in Ankit Rajpoot place, and delivered what KKR expected from him. H ecarried on form where he'd left off in Dharamshala, as he picked picked 3 important wickets of KXIP's in one over, H e'd already gotten maxwell's wicket (25 run of 14) early in the innings. He stopped KXIP to reach promising position and slumped to a below par total of 170/9 by picking up 33/4 in his 4 overs.

KKR Unbeaten: Kolkata Knight Riders have not lost the last 10 games they have chased in Kolkata from 2013 IPL season, it was always going to be. When KKR won the toss and elected to field, it confirmed to the narrative they liked.The decition at the toss might not have been surprising, but kkr's starting XI definitely was.

IPL 2017: KKR VS KXIP PREVIEW

Kolkata Knight Riders will take on against unbeaten Kings XI Punjab on Thursday night 
(13th April 2017) at their home ground in Eden-Garden Stadium Kolkata.

This is the 11th game of this season adition. Both teams have played two games, it is 3rd game for both team. Where KKR won their first match and lost second one against Gujarat Lions and Mumbai Indians respectively, another side KXIP where remain unbeaten with two comfortable win.

KKR are a team that approch the T- 20 game with fixed formula. They have a good, settled  batting line-up before  wrist spinner and Sunil Narine cone into play. It's a formula that has worked more often than not and it is not going to change too much for this game either.

Going to the first home match of this season KKR are latest to be hit the injury bug that has plagued IPL 10. Chris Lynn who stole the show in KKR' s first match against Gujarat Lions had an unfortunate recurrence of a trouble some solder injury, which has sideline him for at least few more games in this season. But KKR will boosted as arrival of Shakib al Hasan and Umesh Yadav as they joined ahead of this game. Inpresence  of Chris Lynn KKR' s trusted opening pair of Goutham Gamber and Robin Uttappa will be open the KKR's inning.

Kings XI Punjab side that has been surprised to everyone by winning their first two games quite comfortably. Maxwell's men have won the game by being quietly  efficient on the field even while they talk of playing more free spirited game.

Kings XI Punjab have shown an inclination of sticking game plan, in just two game of this season 2017. KXIP's top order batsman build a good base for coming middle order batsman like Maxwell and Davide Miller who can play exploding inning to set winning total for the team.
KXIP's batsmans should keep awair against Sunil Narine because of his bowling records against them. Sunil Narine have taken 22 wickets in 11 matches at average of 13.oo and economy rate of just 6.50.

They have also been lucky of the bowling form like Axer Patel and Varun Aron, who shown their impact in the games. Punjab hopes this form of bowling will be continue in this game also.

MI vs SRH: MI won by 4 wickets!

12 th April: On Wednesday night Mumbai Indians faced Defending champion Sunrisers Hyderabad at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Mumbai Indians team beat Sunrisers Hyderabad team by 4 wickets in their 3rd match in IPL season 2017.  

Mumbai Indians team's captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose to bow first. So Sunrisers Hyderabad came down to set a target for Mumbai Indians.

Sunrisers Hyderabad got start well, when their both openers played 81 run for first wicket partnership in 10.3 overs
. When Davide Warner gets out Hyderabad team started to collapse like leaf.
Whenever Sunrisers start to make partnerships, it's broken by Mumbai Indian's bowlers.
Davide Warner scores 49(34) and Shikhar Dhawan 48(43).

At one time Sunrisers Hyderabad 105/1, by sudden collapse it able to score of 158 with loss of 8 wicket in their 20 overs.
Whenever Sunrisers start to make partnerships, it's broken by Mumbai Indian's bowlers. Davide Warner scores 49(34) and Shikhar Dhawan 48(43).

Mumbai Indians team didn't get start well as did precious both the games. Nehra strikes and dismissed Jos buttler 14(11).Captain Rohit Sharma continued his bad form in this match also, his inning ended for just 4 run.Parthiv Patel played a short knock 39 runs in just 24 balls. He crossed 2000 IPL runs when he reached 24 runs individual.  

Mumbai Indians team loose their 3rd wicket as Parthiv out, team score was 79 runs. Again last match winning player Nitish Rana came to rescue team Mumbai. He played a good knock of 45 runs of 34 balls. At another side not hardik Pandya, but this time Krunal Pandya gaves a contribution for his team to win the game.
He scores 37 runs in just 20 balls with 3 Four and Six each.

Mumbai Indians reached the winning target with 8 ball left. With this win Mumbai Indians jumped up for the 3 rd position on the pointstable.

Warner played one extra ball!?

The 10th match of season #10 happened between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians yesterday (12 April) at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The match has already grabbed eyeballs. 

A lot of umpiring mistakes we were saw before, but one has taken place in the last match MI vs SRH.
Latest one one to catch the eye was during the 6th over of Sunrisers Hyderabad's batting. Hyderabad captain Davide Warner played the last ball of the 6th over, hit to a boundary and then he played the 1st ball of  the 7th over. So Warner played One extra ball here.

Unfortunately,there was  another goof-up by the umpires CK Nandan and Nitin Menan during the change over between the 5th and 6th overs of the game.

Here was the live commentary of that moment when this takes place.  
5.5 over:- Bumrah to Warner,  FOUR! Warner expertly placed a moving delivery to the left of a chasing third man. No power is used ther, all timing. Warner just used the pace of the bowler.

6.1 over:- McClenaghan to Warner, 1 run, full on the stumps, Warner tried to hook it to long on, but ended up skying the ball to the leg side. It reached long fielder in one bounce.

Sunrisers Hyderabad Start well!

Sunrisers Hyderabad got good start ( 81/1) in 10.2 overs against  Mumbai Indians in the 10th match of this season IPL 2017 at Wankhede Stadium. Mumbai Indians have won the toss and put Sunrisers Hyderabad bat first. Sunrisers got slow start, but after 5 overs Shikhar and Warner get charged on Mumbai Indians bowlers. Shikhar and Warner put 81 runs for 1st wicket partnership, Davide Warner got out for 49 runs in 34 balls.

Mumbai Indians team will face Sun risers Hyderabad team in IPL 2017 season's 10th match at their home ground Wankhede Stadium Mumbai on Wednesday night.

Mumbai Indians will play their 3rd match with a lost and won. Mumbai having overcome from Chris Lynn threat and an in -form Kolkatta Knight Riders, the challenge will gets bigger Mumbai Indian as they will be play against Hyderabad on Wednesday night April 12th.

The defending champion continue it's form where they lest summit 2016. Hyderabad gets clinical start against Royal Challengers Bangalore in Opening match of this season 2017.    

Mumbai Indians will be keen to use home advantages to try emulate what Hyderabad have done so far, which wouldn't be such simple task as they will face a quality side that is further boosted by the return of Mustfizur Rahaman, who their hero of the last season 2017.

Mumbai Indians previous  both innings with the bat so far have been similar- a good start, suddenly followed by a heap of wicket and then Nitish  Rana and Hardik Pandya coming to the team's rescue.

Opener Jos Buttler, who has looked in ominous form, hasn't able to make a sizeable contribution yet
and has been at the wrong end of two bad umpires decisions. The big man Kieran Pollard hasn't make any big impact in the both match. But Mumbai Indians will be hoping that they will come soon.

Another concern for Mumbai Indians is that pacers haven't been a major influence so far, and the cascading effect of that is runs being leaked both at the start and death overs.

When come to Sun risers Hyderabad, team going by their performance so far, Sunrisers look a thoroughly professional unit whose single minded focus is clinching a second title in as many years.
The contribution is even sread in the team, which is good sign for the Hyderabad unit. 

The Return of Mustafizur Rahaman:- The Bangladesh' s young pacer Mustafizur Rahaman join the Hyderabad team, who is the hero of last season for the Sunrisers Hyderabad. The return of  Mustafizur Rahaman means the SRH' s eleven squad will be change for the first time in this season edition. He may be play in place Ben Cutting.

RPS VS DD: Smith missed out due to?

Yesterday Steve Smith missed out for the game against Dehli Daredevils at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium Pune. The reason was due stomach bug, Yes! Yesterday match Smith wasn't play because suffering of stomach bug. That's why Team management decided do not include him in playing XI.

Ajinky Rahane took captaincy absence of Steve Smith. Manoj Tiwary who played well 40 runs in just 23 balls and managed team to reach 163 runs. He has been left out of the Supergiant team XI, as his father passed away.

Pakisatn beat West Indies and sealed series.

On 11 April, 2017: Shoaib Malik hits a majestic six to secure his century and  Pakistan cricket team beat West Indies cricket team by 6 six wicket in 3rd ODI and sealed a series triumph by 2-1 at Providence on Tuesday. After West Indies had reached 233/9 from it's 50 overs and then made early inroads into Pakistan's batting order, Malik 101(111) Mohammad Hafeez 81(86) turned on the style to see the tourist through to 236/4 with seven overs left.

West Indies won the toss and chose to bat first. But West Indies lost their 3 wickets for just 68 run in 18.3 overs, Than Shai Hope and Jason Mohammad came to save the team from collapse. They are joined and scores 101 runs partnership for 4th wicket.  

Before dismiss Jason Mohammad scores usefull 59 runs in 64 balls including 5 Fours and 2 Sixes. Other side Shai Hope keeps batting and hits 71 run in 111 balls.
Finally West Indies able to reach only 233 runs with loss of 9 wicket in their 50 overs. Pakistan needs 234 runs to won match and series also.

Pakistan when came to chase down the score of 234 runs, they lost their 3 wicket for just 36 runs.
At this moment West Indies have been upper hand over Pakistan. It was not yet hold it long time,

Dehli Daredevils despite RPS!

In IPL 2017 season's match No.9 Dehli Daredevils beat Rising Pune Supergiants by huge margin of 97 runs. Pune didn't able to chase down the 206 target which is highest score at  the Pune MCA Stadium.

Pune Supergiant won the toss and let to Daredevils bat first. Steve Smith has been missed out today's match instead of  him Ajinky  Rahane took captaincy of Supergiant. 

Dehli Daredevils lost their first in the first over and Adity Tare caught out behind the stump.
 Than Sam Billings and Sanju Samson makes a good partnership and scores 71 runs, But when Sam Billing was on 24 of 17 Imran Tahir bowled him at 72/2.

Sanju Samson played here 102 run knock and it helps DD to reach good Total. He out after making IPL maiden Hundred 102 in just 63 deliveries. And also becomes second youngest IPL player to score 100's .

Morris Dhamaka:- Chris Morris come to bat at No.6  and he did exploding batting performance, scores 38 in just 9 balls. He hit 4 fours and 3 Huge Sixes, because of him Dehli able to cross 200 runs mark. Dehli Daredevils finally scores 205/4 in their 20 overs.

Supergiant needs 206 runs to win this game, so there openers needs to not only well and also maintain run rate 10 run per over. But the opener Ajinky Rahane got out for just 10 run. Than starts there pevilian parade and one after one went  out. Pune have some hope on MS Dhoni and Ben Stokes both are gone flop in this game. At another side Dehli bowlers doing well job and have able picks up some important wickets.

Rising Pune Supergiant will take on against Dehli Daredevils in today's match no 9 of IPL 2017 at their home Pune. Pune will plays DD who lost there first match against Royal challengers Bangalore by small margin of 15 run at Bangalore Chinnswamy  Stadium.     


Each team have lost their last match RPS by KXI Punjab and DD by RCB. Both team have hope to win this game and get startup here for their wining moment in this season. Steve Smith as captain gets starts well in first match but in second match they lost.                  

In second match Puneri batsman starts pevilian parade, but Manoj Tiwari managed to reach RPS to a good total of 163 runs. That score was easily chased by KXIP.          

When cames to MS Dhoni, Who batted at No. 5 in both the matches played so far this season, has scores of 12* and 5 runs, but criticism after two games in a season is rather harsh even if it involves the best players. Dhoni being Dhoni, offered no reaction in public.  He went about his buiseness as usual. Having turned up a tad later than all of his teammates for training on the eve of the game against Dehli Daredevils, he however decided to skip some fielding drills that entire team indulged in, choosing instead to spend some time batting in the nets before joining the rest of the side.

    

Puneri's batting seems to be a less worry for them this season, given the solidity that Ajinky Rahane is providing at the top. In addition , Smith's incredible form seems to be holding middle order in place. Having Ben Stoke and Dhoni following makes it simpler for the captain, who would rather shift focus to the death bowling. Despite Ashok Dind's experience, he leakes runs at the death- taken apartfor as many as 30 in the final over against Mumbai Indians. Luckly that Smith cames to the party, but it couldn't have been an aspect ignored.              

The last time Supergiant were playing at home, they lost all their games at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. They finally managed to turn that around this year in their season opener against the Mumbai Indians, beating them comfortably by seven wickets thanks to a brilliant unbeaten 84 from Smith. They went on to lose their second game of the season to a sprightly Kings XI Punjab in Indore after failing to defend 164, having been asked to bat first. History suggests that Pune have never managed to win a game batting first, and Smith himself likes a chase better, as he mentioned in their season opener against Mumbai. The toss lost against Kings XI had Pune bat first, and still unable to debunk that stat. Factoring in that, how crucial will the toss be? 

Ashok Dinda struggling in the death overs, Pune can be look to bring in Jayadev Unadakat as replacement for him.

IPL 2017: KXIP VS RCB CLASH AT INDORE

Royal Challengers Bangalore will face against Kings XI Punjab at there home Indore in today's match with confidence, because of 15 run trilling win over the Delhi Daredevils on Saturday night while depending a low score.

However, even as they keep their fingers crossed on the much anticipated return of their big guns captain Virat Kohli And AB de Villiars. Even as they hope for this 'sleeping giant' to wake up and blow all the bowlers away.

RCB would no doubt be buoyed with the way they successfully defended 157 run at Chinnswamy Stadium in their last match. With that win Bangalore side are now up against Kings XI Punjab.
Kings XI Punjab also have confidence after beating Rising Pune Supergiat at their last game by Six wickets.

RCB have reason to party very shortly. As they take on Kings XI Punjab on Monday night , all eyes would to be on a certain gentleman Chris Gayle. He slammed 9,975 runs from 288 T-20 games. The 'SIXER MASTER' is needed just 25 runs to becoming the first batsman in world cricket history to cross 10,000 runs in the shortest  form of cricket. The Big Man has score only 32 and 6 in two games, but would love to gallop past the 10,000 mark with a typical scoring inning.
